Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 large containers frozen strawberries
    2 (16 oz.) cans crushed pineapple, drained
    1 box cheesecake mix
    1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare yellow cake and let cool.
    Mix cheesecake filling according to directions.
    Crumble 1/2 of the yellow cake and layer it in a punch bowl.
    Top with 1/2 of cheesecake filling, strawberries, pineapple and Cool Whip.
    Repeat layers, using remaining 1/2 of each of the ingredients.
    If desired, garnish with coconut, pecans and cherries.
