Claret Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
2 c. bottled cranberry juice cocktail
1 c. sugar
peel of 1/2 lemon
6 whole allspice berries
12 whole cloves
2 fifths claret
orange slices
Preparation

In large saucepan, combine water, juice, sugar, lemon peel, allspice and cloves.
Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and boil 15 minutes.
Add claret.
Strain and remove lemon peel, allspice and cloves.
