Italian Sausage Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 loaves frozen bread dough
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage, skinned and crumbled
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Place frozen bread dough on well-greased baking sheets. Grease top of each loaf.
Let stand, covered, for 2 hours or until thawed.
Do not let rise.
Brown ground beef and sausage with onion and green pepper in skillet, stirring frequently; drain. Cool.
Press dough with greased hands over surface of baking sheets.
Layer with ground beef mixture and cheese.
Roll as for jelly roll.
Place seam side down on baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Yield:
24 servings.
