Grandma'S Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 chopped onion
1 green pepper, cut in strips
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 qt. or 1 large can tomatoes
1 c. tomato sauce
2 c. water
8 oz. wide noodles (uncooked)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Saute onion and green pepper in Dutch oven in butter.
Add ground chuck, seasoned salt, pepper and sugar; brown well.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and water; simmer 15 minutes.
Into a 13 x 9-inch pan, layer tomatoes, meat mixture and noodles.
Top with Mozzarella cheese.
Make sure noodles are well covered by sauce. Cover with aluminum foil; bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cut and serve as you would lasagne.
Serves 8 to 10 people.
