Raisin Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dry Raisin Bran cereal
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening (liquid)
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine cereal and milk.
    Let stand until moistened.
    Add eggs and shortening; beat well, then add flour, baking powder, salt and sugar (sifted).
    Stir only until combined.
    Add extra raisins if wanted.
    Fill muffin tins (grease, if not using cupcake papers) 2/3 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 24 muffins.
