Portuguese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground sausage
    2 c. onions, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    6 Tbsp. oil
    10 c. beef stock
    2 cans chili beans
    1 small head cabbage
    2 cans sliced potatoes
    16 oz. catsup
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 cans tomatoes
    1 bag California style vegetables
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown sausage, onion, garlic and celery.
    Add all the other ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
    Cabbage should be cut into 1-inch squares.
