Old Fashioned Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. molasses
    4 1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. soda
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Cream shortening, brown sugar and eggs.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Cover and chill one hour.
    Shape into round balls; dip into sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
