Custardy Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 slices day-old bread, buttered
    8 eggs
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Break buttered bread in pan.
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and milk.
    Mix.
    Pour over bread.
    Sprinkle with raisins.
    Set baking pan into a larger pan containing at least 1 inch of hot water.
    Bake 55 to 60 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
