Savory Stuffed Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. large or medium shrimp, peeled and deveined and sliced down the back
1 rib celery
1 small onion
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 c. Italian bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. paprika
8 pitted olives (garnish)
Preparation

In small skillet, saute celery, onion and green peppers (about 4 minutes).
In 1 teaspoon olive oil, toss with celery, onion, peppers, breadcrumbs and add egg, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Combine remaining oil, thyme and paprika and brush on shrimp. Stuff bread mixture into sliced back of shrimp allowing it to spill over in baking dish and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through.
Garnish with black olives.
