Fancy Egg Scramble - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. diced Canadian bacon or 1/2 small roll sausage (4 to 8 oz.)
    1/4 c. chopped green onion
    7 Tbsp. butter or margarine (divided use)
    12 beaten eggs
    1 (3 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    1 recipe Cheese Sauce (recipe follows)
    2 1/4 c. soft bread crumbs (3 slices)
    1/8 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    In large skillet, cook bacon or sausage and onion in 3 tablespoons butter or margarine until onion is tender, but not brown.
    Add eggs and scramble just until set.
    Fold mushrooms and cooked eggs into Cheese Sauce.
    Turn into a 12 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Combine remaining melted butter, crumbs and paprika; sprinkle atop eggs.
    Cover; chill until 30 minutes before serving (can refrigerate overnight).
    Bake, uncovered in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Makes 10 servings.
