Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff and add 1 1/4 cups of the sugar so they will hold their air.
Now cream the butter and the rest of the sugar.
Add the egg yolks.
Sift the flour, salt and soda and add alternately with the sour cream.
Add the vanilla.
Fold in the egg whites last.
Turn into a greased and floured tube pan or two loaf pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until it is done. Turn out on cake rack to cool.
