German Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. oil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine cabbage,
    onion
    and bell pepper. Fold in 1 cup sugar. Set
    aside.
    Mix
    remaining ingredients and bring to a slow boil.
    Cool
    slightly,
    then
    toss with cabbage mixture. Refrigerate for 24 hours and serve.
