Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Boil ingredients briskly for about 15 minutes or until caramel colored.
    Remove from heat and stir in 2 teaspoons soda.
    Pour onto 2 large well-buttered cookie sheets.
    When cool, break into pieces.
