South Of The Border Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. (1.25 oz.) taco seasoning
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. unseasoned dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. chunky salsa
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine all ingredients except salsa; blend well. Form into 1-inch balls.
    In large skillet, brown meatballs on all sides; drain fat.
    Add salsa to skillet.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
