Browned Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Brown
    rice
    and
    place
    in
    baking dish.
    Add water and stir. Bake,
    covered,
    for 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Meanwhile,
    saute
    onion
    and mushrooms in butter.
    Remove from heat and stir in peas and soy sauce.
    Blend into rice and bake, uncovered, an additional 15 minutes.
