Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. flour plus 2 Tbsp.
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. fresh chopped pears
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first four ingredients in large bowl.
    Blend in shortening.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 375\u00b0. I use 2 loaf pans.
