Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. Cool Whip
    2 c. diced apples
    1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Place juice in saucepan.
    Add sugar, flour vinegar and egg.
    Heat and stir until thick.
    Add pineapple. Refrigerate.
    Can leave until next day.
    Add Cool Whip, apples and peanuts.
    Marshmallows may be added, if desired.
