Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. applesauce
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. jam
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. dates
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves together. Mix remaining ingredients together in separate bowl. Slowly add flour mixture. Bake in three 9-inch round cake pans at 350\u00b0 until done. Ice with Caramel Icing.
