Patio Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    scant 1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    salt
    3/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. mayo
    7 medium potatoes, cooked in jackets, then peeled and diced
    3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, vinegar, egg, margarine, cornstarch, salt, celery seed and dry mustard.
    Cook and stir over low heat until thickened.
    Remove from heat; blend in onion and mayo.
    Cool.
    Combine with cooked eggs and potatoes. Chill.
    Just before serving, sprinkle with paprika.
