Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, mixing well. Blend in flour. Shape by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Blend cinnamon and sugar; roll balls in mixture. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from sheet to cool. Can use colored sugar for different holidays. Makes 6 dozen.
