Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, well beaten
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/3 c. milk, scalded
1 c. whipping cream (not whipped)
1 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg*
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a 9-inch crust. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Center should be a bit shaky when you take the custard out.
Put on rack to cool.
The center will set as it cools.
