Apple-Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie crust, uncooked
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. peeled, sliced apples
    1 c. cooked pumpkin
    5 oz. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Beat egg slightly.
    Mix in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 45 minutes longer or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool. Serve with whipped cream.
