Fettuccine Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. butter (or less)
    2/3 c. boiling water
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) box fettuccine noodles
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. parsley, dried
    1 tsp. basil, dried
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup butter on low speed.
    Add basil, parsley and pepper.
    Add boiling water, mix well and set aside. Boil noodles until done.
    Rinse and drain noodles; saute garlic in 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Toss with noodles.
    Toss noodles with cheese and herb mixture and add Parmesan cheese.
