Boston Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pea beans or great northern
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. catsup or barbecue sauce
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    5 slices bacon, cut into 2 inch pieces, or salt pork
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. ground black pepper
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Place pea beans in slow cooker. Add water to 1 inch above beans; cover. Turn heat to High and cook for 3 hours. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover. Cook on Low 10 to 14 hours or until beans are tender.
