Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pie shell
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
1/3 c. flour
Preparation

Mix flour and sugar.
Add butter and egg yolks.
Stir in gradually the buttermilk, vanilla and salt.
Fold in egg whites. Pour into a 9-inch pie shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
Pie should be lightly browned.
