French Fried Cheese Bits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb American cheese
    1/2 c milk
    1/2 c sifted flour
    1 egg
    1 c fine crumbs
    Crisco for deep frying
Preparation
    Cut cheese into 1/2 to 1 inch cubes.
    Dip in milk and then flour.
    Roll the cubes in egg and then in fine crumbs.
    Fry cheese bits in deep Crisco heated to about 365\u00b0 (or when an inch cube of bread browns in 60 seconds).
    Fry about one minute, or until as brown as desired.
    Drain on absorbent paper and serve very hot.
