Pear Chips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. pears, cut into pieces
    4 lb. sugar
    4 lemons
    1/4 lb. ginger (optional)
Preparation
    Add sugar and ginger to cut up pears.
    Let stand overnight. Add lemon, cut into small pieces.
    Cook slowly 3 hours.
    Seal in hot jars.
    Cook 5 minutes at 7 pounds of pressure.
