Old Fashion Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 pt. half and half
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 qt. milk
Preparation
    Beat eggs until lightly colored.
    Add sugar, salt and dry gelatin gradually.
    Continue beating until thick and creamy.
    Add vanilla.
    Heat half and half cream and milk to luke warm.
    Add to egg mixture and mix; let stand for 15 minutes and pour into freezer can.
    Freeze according to your freezer directions.
    Makes 1 gallon.
