Thelma'S Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head iceberg lettuce
    2 tomatoes
    2 cucumbers
    1 medium Vidalia onion
    1 medium green pepper
    2 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans, drained
    1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing*
Preparation
    Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces into large bowl.
    Chop tomatoes, cucumbers, onion and green pepper; add to lettuce.
    Pour in the drained beans.
    Stir in mayonnaise.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
