Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cream shortening, brown sugar and eggs. Then add molasses. Mix, then add all dry ingredients. Mix good. Gradually add boiling water. Pour into greased and floured pan, 9 x 9 or 8 x 8. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
