Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    1 qt. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Drain liquor from the oysters and put it in a saucepan; scald, then skim it.
    Add the oysters and cook until the edges begin to curl.
    Heat the milk just to the boiling point; do not scald.
    Add the seasoning and butter to the oysters, then the milk.
    Serves 4.
