Pulled Maple Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. maple syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water until it reaches full rolling boil.
    Add vinegar, cream of tartar and butter.
    Boil until brittle when dropped in cold water.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla and pour out on buttered platter.
