German Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. cabbage, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
pepper
Preparation
-
Soak cabbage 1 hour, all covered in cold water.
Drain cabbage and cook it covered with other ingredients, except vinegar and the sugar.
Cook until tender.
Add vinegar and sugar and cook 15 minutes more.
