Apple Walnut Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. thinly sliced, pared tart apples (Jonathans)
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/3 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Place apples in 10-inch round cake pan.
    Combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar and the cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.
