Cabbage Soup Or "Just Good Soup" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
4 c. chopped cabbage
4 c. water
1/4 green pepper, cut in small pieces
3 or 4 beef bouillon cubes
4 or 5 shakes cayenne pepper
2 cans light kidney beans
1 qt. tomato juice
Preparation

Cook ground beef in 5-quart kettle until it loses pink color but not brown.
Drain off fat.
Add the cabbage and water, green pepper, bouillon cubes, cayenne pepper and kidney beans.
Cook for about 20 minutes.
Then add tomato juice and cook 45 minutes.
Add water if too thick.
