Black-Eyed Pea Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) cans black-eyed peas with jalapenos
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    4 to 5 green onions, finely chopped
    8 oz. cubed Velveeta
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Drain peas and smash smooth.
    Place in a 1-quart bowl or microwavable dish and add remaining ingredients.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Stir well and pour into a serving bowl.
    Serve with corn chips or raw vegetables.
