Beer-Batter Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 to 1 c. beer
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. clean mushrooms
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients and stir thoroughly.
Let sit 1/2 hour, then stir again.
Allow to rest.
Dip mushrooms in batter. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels. Use as a side dish or an appetizer.
