Pasta With Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 garlic cloves, minced
    2 to 3 dashes Tabasco
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. fresh asparagus, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 lb. elbow or spiral macaroni, cooked and drained
Preparation
    In a skillet, cook garlic and Tabasco in oil and butter for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add asparagus, salt and pepper.
    Saute asparagus until it's crisp-tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
    Add Parmesan cheese.
    Mix well.
    Pour over hot pasta and toss to coat.
    Serve immediately.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
