Homemade Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium tomatoes (2 c.)
    1/4 c. sliced green onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 to 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley or cilantro
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    4 oz. can green chili peppers, drained
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Peel and finely chop tomatoes.
    Stir together with chopped chili peppers, onion, green pepper and lemon juice.
    Add parsley, garlic and pepper.
    Place 1 cup tomato mixture in blender or processor.
    Blend until just pureed.
    Also blend in tomato sauce at the same time.
    Stir all ingredients together.
    Chill and store tightly covered in refrigerator.
    Use as dip for chips or topper for main dishes.
