Beef Or Deer Jerky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large steak
    2 tsp. canning salt
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. onion powder
    1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    2 tsp. liquid smoke
    1 tsp. pepper
    drop of hot sauce (if desired)
Preparation
    Remove all fat from meat.
    Freeze partially, then cut into 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick strips.
    Marinate overnight in quart jars.
    Lay jars in refrigerator on their sides.
    Turn occasionally.
    Remove from jars and lay strips on racks in the oven.
    Turn oven to lowest oven setting for about 10 to 12 hours.
    If oven is still too warm, leave door ajar.
