Sweet Potato Custard Pie(Pie Shell Must Be 9-Inch Or 10-Inch) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar, cooked and mashed
    1 c. yams
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. pecans, sprinkled over top of pie last 10 minutes of cooking
Preparation
    Beat butter until creamy.
    Add sugar and milk.
    Separate eggs. Beat yolks lightly and add to butter mixture along with yams, spices and vanilla.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into butter mixture.
    Pour into uncooked pie shell.
    Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0, then at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
