7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, broken gently into bite size pieces
    2 medium green peppers, chopped
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen green peas
    1 lb. bacon, cooked, cooled and crumbled
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    16 oz. each: sour cream and Hellmann's mayonnaise (low-fat varieties also work well)
Preparation
    Microwave the green peas until just defrosted, not cooked, or run under hot water and drain.
