Brownie Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites (1/2 c.)
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. chocolate wafer crumbs, ground up fine (12 cookies)
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    sweetened whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in cookie crumbs, nuts and vanilla.
    Spread evenly in lightly buttered 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Spread top with sweetened whipped cream.
    Chill well 2 to 3 hours.
    Trim with curls of shaved unsweetened chocolate or ground nuts.
