Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1 can (12 oz.) peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar and syrup in heavy frying pan, stirring until tan in color.
    Add peanuts and continue stirring.
    Remove from stove and add baking soda.
    Pour mixture on greased cookie sheet. When cooled, break into bite-size pieces.
