Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 strips bacon, chopped
    1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
    16 oz. tomatoes (undrained)
    1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
    pepper
    8 1/2 oz. red kidney beans
    Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    28 oz. chicken broth
    10 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
    1/2 tsp. basil
    10 oz. white kidney beans
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cook bacon in 4-quart saucepot 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes, until onion is tender.
    Stir in broth, tomatoes, veggies, macaroni and seasonings.
    Bring to boil.
    Lower heat and cook 12 minutes.
    Stir in beans and cook 2 minutes.
    Skim off foam.
    Sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan.
