Blueberry Batter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. blueberries, fresh or frozen
    juice of 1 1/2 lemons
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Place blueberries in the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice.
    Blend together the shortening, sugar, milk, flour, baking powder and salt.
    Pour this batter over the blueberries.
    Sprinkle batter with mixture of sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Pour 1 cup of boiling water over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
