Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. light corn syrup
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Work butter in a bowl until creamy.
    Stir in sugar and flour; mix well.
    Add syrup and eggs.
    Beat until mixture is fluffy.
    Stir in nuts, vanilla and salt.
    Pour mixture into pastry shell.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Lower heat to 350\u00b0. Continue to bake 30 to 35 minutes longer or until center is firm. Serves 6 to 8.
