Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    2 sticks softened butter
Preparation
    Sift together flour and sugar.
    Fold in butter.
    Place in a 9-inch round tin.
    Pat down; poke with a fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut when hot.
    Cool on baking rack.
    Serves 8.
