Grand Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. milk
    prepared angel food cake
    whipped cream
    crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar, cornstarch and milk in top of double boiler.
    Stirring constantly, cook over low boiling water until mixture coats spoon and is fairly thickened.
    Add vanilla and chill.
