Refried Beans With Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (2 1/4 c.) pinto beans
    6 c. water
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 onion, minced
    2 garlic buds, minced
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight, then bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 2 hours.
    Do not drain.
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Cook onion and garlic.
    Add chili powder, salt and tomato sauce; mix.
    Remove beans from liquid.
    Mash beans and add with liquid to skillet. Add cheese.
    Serves 8.
